The Scrolling Fool

I scroll. I do all kinds of woodwork, but I commonly find a way to add scrolling of some kind to everything I do. I want to show that anyone can use the scroll saw. Anyone can get into this hobby and create scrolled wood work from the simplest styled home accents, all the way up to magnificant works of art that takes hundreds of hours to complete. It's up to the individual as to how far they wish to take it.
I call my blog the Scrolling Fool, because I am a fool for scrolling. I fell into scrolling almost by accident and have loved it ever since. My blog will include information on patterns, techniques, tricks, and anything else scrolling related I can think to throw in there. Another reason I call it the scrolling fool is humor. I do like to break up the seriousness when I can with a little bit of humor. If we can't laugh and have fun while doing this, then what's the point in doing it?

Getting Off Track

I realize I have not posted lately. I get sidetracked often. Also, since I am fairly new here and a lot of readers may not know my situation, I have severe health issues. Because of this, I often disappear weeks at a time. I apologize for this and hope you all will bear with me.

As for getting sidetracked, while scrolling is my main passion, and I always come back to it, I also often start into other avenues of woodworking. I enjoy learning new skills. Lately, it has been wood turning, and marble machines. I am now on my third marble machine. Also, a few weeks ago I had a lathe. Now I have three. If any of you would like, and if management is alright with it, I'd be glad to post some blogs about some, or all, of this. For the marble machines, I have videos of them in action.

So, I hope to get back to blogging sometime next week, early in the week I hope. Let me know in the comments if any of you would like to hear about my off track adventures.
