Book Review

Build Your Own Entertainment Centers
"20+ plans to customize projects for every style of home - from contemporary to traditional."

By Andy Schultz

Lately I have been doing a lot of work on my livingroom, adding new pergo floors, painting, wallpapering, and now designing and building a new mantel and entertainment center. As I have mentioned before my typical first step for any major project is "look it up". So I logged onto the Rockler woodworking page and found this book. I ordered it and was pleasantly surprised. Although the book contained no designed very close to what I want to build, it does show you the techniques and design elements native to most entertainment center designs.

Each design is laid out in careful step by step diagrams and explanations. Pictures and illustrations show cutting and assembly techniques. This is a very well designed book and the perfect reference material for anyone who needs a place to put the new 37" TV and DVD player.. oh yea, not to mention the Home theater system..
