The Complete Manual of Woodworking
By Albert Jackson, David Day, Simon Jennings
If I had to choose one book to recommend to absolutely every
woodworker I knew, it would be this book. Covering everything from types of
woods, designing & planning,
hand
tools, power tools, turning, joints, carving, bending and many other subjects.
The pure joy of this book is that it covers the basics of a huge array of
subjects. Although a book about which ever subject your interested in will
cover much more detail, this one will give you some excellent basics and offers
you the foundation for those subjects.
320
profusely illustrated pages filled with color photosand drawings, The Complete
Manual of Woodworking is a pleasure to browse. The writing is concise and
detailed. Subjects are easy to look up, and information is quick to locate.
This is a book you will use as a reference, and also one you would browse
for enjoyment
I believe the new woodworker as well as the seasoned woodsmith would get good use out of this book.
